Emma M. Bass
Mrs. Emma M. Bass, 79, of 630 26th, died this morning in a local nursing home following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 22, 1894, in Leadville, Colo., a daughter of Isaac and Anna Jones.
She was married to Anton J. Snyder in 1919 in Leadville. He died in 1935. On Oct. 3, 1945, she married William Earl Bass in Ogden.
She had been formerly employed at St. Benedict?s Hospital and Hill Air Force Base. She was a member of the National Association or Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 320. She was also a member of the Auxiliary to Barracks 1011 of the Veterans of World War I. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Ogden; one daughter and one stepson; Mrs. Con Delgarno, of Casper, Wyo.; Derrell T. Bass, Ogden; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Larkin Chapel of the Dwan where friends may call Monday on e hour prior to the services.
Family requests flowers please be omitted. Interment will be in the Aultorest Memorial Park.
Mass of Resurrection will be offered Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph?s Catholic Church. Family will meet friends at the Larkin and Sons Mortuary Monday from 10 until 11 a.m.
