  Notes	Norwich Bulletin, April 1, 2010 Joseph H. Bessette March 15, 1919 – March 31, 2010 DAYVILLE - Joseph H. Bessette, 91, died Wednesday at Regency Heights in Danielson. He was the husband of Carmela (Connie) (Pomposelli) Bessette who survives him. He was born in Central Falls, RI on March 15, 1919, son of the late Hormidas and Mederise (Geiroux) Bessette. Mr. Bessette served in the air force and later the army infantry during WWII. He was a member of the RI Local #271 Laborers Union and worked in construction for many years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Dayville. Besides his wife he is survived by his brother Louis Bessette and his wife Doris of Pawtucket, RI and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Internment will be private. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church at a later date. Tillinghast Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Danielson is in charge of arrangements.
