Edmond A. Bessette
EDMOND A. BESSETTE, 80, of Dyer Avenue, Riverside, a die setter at Mason Manufacturing for 50 years, retiring in 1982, died yesterday at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.
He was the husband of the late Lucy E. (Barney) Bessette. Born in Providence, a son of the late Abraham and Eva (Jetti) Bessette, he settled in Riverside in 1957.
Mr. Bessette was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves a son, Edmond L. Bessette of Riverside; a daughter, Marie E. Cimino of Flutz, Fla.; two sisters, Gladys Panzarella of East Providence and Estelle Coutu of West Warwick; two brothers, Eugene and Ernest Bessette, both of Riverside; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Rita Smith, and Leo, Alphonse, Jeannette and Loretta Bessette.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Ave. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
