Paul A. Bessette
Paul A. Bessette, 76, of Oneida Street died yesterday at home. He was the husband of the late Doris C. (Mulholland) Bessette.
Born in Danville, Vt., a son of the late Joseph H. and Jennie (Dunbar) Bessette, he lived in Cranston for 25 years. He previously lived in Providence.
Mr. Bessette was a foreman for the Seaboard Foundry, Johnston, for 4 4years before retiring in 1978. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves three daughters, Ruth A. Millar, Mary J. DeMotte, and Kathy D. Bessette, all of Cranston; two sisters, Ida Woods of Tallen, Conn., and Rachel Friske of Uxbridge, Mass.; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was brother of the late Arnold and Frank Bessette, and Esther Willis, H. Irene Pelletier, and Adelaide Bergeron.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the Funeral Home of T.F. Monahan & Son, 230 Waterman St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Ann Church, Cranston Street. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.
