  Notes	Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, September 7, 1960 Taylor Bass, Retired Farmer Gazette State News Service Fort Smith, Sept. 6.-Taylor Bass, aged 91, of Van Buren, a retired farmer, died Monday at his home. He was a Baptist. Survivors include five sons, Lee Bass of Fort Smith and Owen Bass, Joe Bass, Wyatt Bass and Guy Bass, all of Van Buren; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Pirker of Fort Smith; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Overbey of Van Buren and Mrs. Alma Carter of Eureka, Cal., and a half-brother, Oscar Pitchford of Van Buren. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Gove Baptist Church by Rev. Charles Graves.
