David Lee Bass, 65, of Science Hill, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on January 24, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio; son of the late William Kenneth & Lois Ann (Taylor) Bass. He worked as a truck driver, was a member of the Creek Church, an Eagle Member, and a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Roush) Bass; a son, James & (Tammy) Bass of Science Hill; two daughters, Cynthia Bass & (Charles Burton) of Somerset and Tara Bass & (Melissa Harlow) of Burnside; a sister, Pamela Karen Jetters of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren, Riley Jo "Peanut" Bass, David Edmond Bass, Eric Isic Cuzzort, Sarah Smith, & Justin Lynn Bass; and three great-grandchildren, Kolton Edmond Bass, Zalynn Rae Bass, and Myla Jo Bass.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Travis William Bass.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Herren officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
