Jackson Garner Bass
Jackson Garner Bass, 52, of Seoul, South Korea, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, in Samsung Medical Center, South Korea.
Born Feb. 13, 1956, in Harriman, he lived in Oliver Springs and was a 1975 graduate of Clinton High School. He enlisted the U.S. Army in 1980 and was honorably discharged in March 1986.
He was preceded in death by father, Warren Bass Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Nam of Seoul; son, Shawn of Seoul; daughter, Katherine Bass of Seoul; mother, Ruby K. Bass of the Oliver Springs area; brothers, Marvin Bass, Warren Bass Jr., the Rev. Mark Bass and Stacey Bass, all of the Oliver Springs area; sister, Deborah Johnson of Louisville; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Memorial service was at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, in Sharp Funeral Home chapel, Oliver Springs, with the Rev. Joseph Copeland officiating.
