He was born in Concord Twp, DeKalb County, Oct. 26, 1907, the son of Charles and Cora (Bassett) Derrow. He married Ida Kinsey May 28, 1927. Retired in 1968 from Warner-Motive, he had lived at his current residence for 33 years. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Robert, Wis., and Dr. Donald of Auburn; three sisters, Marie Preuss, Saginaw, Mich., Gladys Whittig, Auburn, and Helen Sanders, Angola; eight brothers, Arthur and Harold, Fort Wayne, Guy and Glenn, DeKalb County, Charles, Garrett, Howard and Walter, Ashley, and Chester, Albion; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of Auburn First United Methodist Church. Services in Dilgard, Cline & Southern Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial, Woodlawn Cemetery.
