Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter - 9 Sep 1914
Christopher Litterneau aged 83 years, died Sunday morning at 4:30 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Christman, 303 Bannister street. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock form the residence and at 9:30 from St. Louis Church, Rev. Father Piette officiating. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery, Taycheedah. Mr. Litterneau was born in Canada in 1831 and came to Fond du Lac county when he was 24 years of age. For some time he resided on a farm in Friendship but for the past twenty-two years he had been a resident of this city. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edward Bassett, North Dakota, Mrs. E. Perrizo of Minnesota and Mrs. William Christman of this place; by one brother, Joseph of North Fond du Lac, two sisters, Mrs. William Trendo of Merrill, Wisconsin and Matilda Litterneau of Superior.
