Yvonne A. Bass-Crissman
Yvonne A. Bass-Crissman, 58, of Florahome passed away at the Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka on Thursday, March 8, 2012, following an extended illness.
She was born in Williston, and had resided in Florahome for the past 14 years coming from Jack-sonville. Mrs. Crissman enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, hunting, music and playing games on her computer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. Bass Sr. and Alene Bass and her first husband, Lessie Fred Phillips, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 18 months, Morgan Crissman of Florahome; her sons and daughters-in-law, Fred Phillips, Jr. and wife Maya Phillips of Jacksonville, and Jason and Beth Phillips of Keystone Heights; her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Burton Scaff of Callahan; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter E. Bass, Jr. and wife Sharon Bass of Jacksonville and Mike and Angie Bass of Jacksonville; her step-daughter and son-in-law Jamie and Billy Skinner of Hilliard; nine grandchildren, Preston, Dalton, Magen, Levi, Dakota, Jordan, Jaiden, Leighann and Austin; two step-grandchildren, Bruce and Trinity; numerous nieces and nephews and her dog, Max, who she loved very dearly.
Funeral services will be held at the Masters Funeral Home of Palatka on Wednesday, March 14, at 11 a.m. with Charles Scaff officiating. Interment will follow in Paran Cemetery, Grandin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
