Murray T. Bass
'A message from Murray Bass to all his friends and loved ones.'
Murray T. Bass was born in San Gabriel Canyon, California, on May 10, 1928.
Married 60 years to a beautiful redhead, Zella Edora Bass. Lucky man.
Mine was a genuine ashes-to-ashes life. Started as nothing with nothing and took nothing with me when I died. I had a good life. Not an easy one, but good.
God guided my footsteps as I grew older. He made my life worthy and worth living with the help of wonderful friends. I have laughed and cried with the people I loved and who loved me. I became a better human because of my critics. They taught me when I was wrong, and reaffirmed my convictions when I was right. They helped me find the path to wisdom, a destination I was never quite able to reach.
I have entered into the eternal vacuum of anonymity. While I will certainly be soon forgotten, I pray that some of the things I tried to achieve in my lifetime will continue to live through the lives I had a small part in changing.
To everyone I leave behind I have these parting words, the lyrics of a song: "When you're all alone and blue, No one to tell your troubles to, Remember me, I'm the one who loves you."
Service will be private.
