Olga Bass, wife of the late Jack H. Bass, passed away on December 16, 2022. Olga was born 93 years ago in Hamtramck, Michigan and throughout her life, maintained pride in her Ukrainian heritage. She led a full life filling her 93 years with a career as a Federal Deputy U.S. Marshall in Detroit and in her leisure time, traveling around the world. She began her travels when she was young and single and continued to do so throughout her marriage with Jack. When she married Jack, she became a stepmother to Jeannine Gioia, Jeanette Markiewicz (Steve) and Steven Bass. She was later known as a grandma to Brandon, Shawn, and Ashley. Olga takes with her a lifetime of adventures, memories, and packed full of prayers on this last trip to her final and best ever destination.
