Bennie Bass, III

Ben Bass, III, 58, "Little Ben" of Blythewood, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Ben Bass, Jr. and the late Carol Ann Morris Bass.
Ben III is survived by his father, son, Bryant Bass (Crystal Dinkins); daughter, Kourtney Bass; and sister, Jen??nifer Bass Walling (David Walling, Kayla, and Chris Fain)
In addition to his mother, Ben is predeceased by his wife, Bonnie Gayle Bass; and brother, Christopher Bass.
Ben loved sports especially University of South Carolina Gamecocks and watching the Master?s Golf tournament. Ben was a loved Son, Father, Brother and friend, he will be missed dearly.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, September 21, 2026, at Pope Funeral Home in Winnsboro. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 Am Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Stephe Greene Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Mickey Cockrell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Stephen Greene Baptist Church.
