Stephen Gregory Bass, age 18 of Hamlet, formerly of Laurinburg died suddenly on Saturday, March 1, 2008.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel conducted by Rev. Junior Quick. Burial will follow at the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery in Hamlet.
Stephen was born July 17, 1989 in Scotland County, son of Peggy Bass and the late Clayton Chavis. He worked in construction as a brick mason. Stephen loved to draw, listen to music and he especially enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his fiancé Linda Parke of the home; his mother, Peggy Bass of Laurinburg; brothers, Craig Alan Bass of Four Oaks, Bryan Bass of Hamlet, Travis Bozman of Charlotte; sisters, Melissa Bass of Laurel Hill and Shannon Bass of Hamlet.
