- Mrs. Julia Bass, 70, Claimed By Death
Mrs. Julia Agnes Bass, and old and respected citizen of Cape Girardeau county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.M. Bass 20 South Hanover street, at 3:40 o?clock this morning following an illness of about ten weeks. She was past 70 years old.
Mrs. Bass was taken ill at her home near Rum Branch in the south end of the county and two weeks later was brought here where she had since been treated.
Besides the daughter, Mrs. W.M. Bass she leaves one other daughter, Miss Mary Vinson of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Green C. Bass of Delta, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Flowers of Rum Branch.
The funeral will be held tomorrow, the cortege to leave here in the morning for Fairview cemetery, where burial will take place.
