Jeffrey M. Bass
Jeffrey M. Bass, 45, of Stony Point passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 13, 2016. He was born on March 19, 1971 in the Bronx to W Christopher and Anne (McKiernan) Bass. Jeff was a member of the AOH of Pearl River, and the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was an avid sports fan who loved the NY Yankees & Giants. He played rugby at Cornell University. Most of all Jeff loved spending time with his brothers, nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his father William Christopher Bass in 1999. Jeff is survived by his loving grandmother Dorothy McKiernan, his beloved mother Anne of Stony Point, his loving brothers Christopher (Mary Ryan) of Pearl River, Brendan (Patricia) of Stony Point, Damon (Melissa) of Piermont, Justin (Joanne) of Pearl River and his cherished and adored nieces & nephews Emily, Brendan, Leanna, Liam and his numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.
The family will receive friends & relatives on Friday, July 15th from 2-4 & 6 - 9 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Jeffrey on Sat., July 16th at 10 AM in St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville with Interment to follow in Ascension Cemetery in Airmont. Donations can be made in Jeffery's memory to the American Diabetes Assoc. 337 7th Ave., Room 1700, New York, NY 10020.
