      Negro Dies In Accident
      Clinton Bass Killed Near Farmville When Automobile Overturns

      Greenville, March 3. ? Clinton Bass, 23-year-old Negro, was instantly killed when he lost control of his car at a railroad crossing about one mile from Farmville last night about 6:30 o?clock.
      State Highway Patrolman Ernest Guthrie reported the car turned over in Thurmond Floyd?s yard and was wrecked. Ed Baker and John Walters May, Negroes, received cuts and bruises, John Faison, Negro, escaped injury.
      Pitt County Coroner Griffin H. Rouse said there will be inquest.
