Mr. William Bass, Jr., 77, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas.
Celebration of Life Visitation Service for Mr. Bass will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m., with the practice of social distancing and Facial Masks required. Celebration Service for Mr. Bass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 6, 2021 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Gladys Jewel Bass; daughter, Donna Bass; grandchildren, Zayne, Zachary, and Zaria Young; god-grands, Starlin and Sterlin Grant; god child, Keisha Gage; sisters-in-law, Louise Burns, Barbara Bass, Charlie (Herbert) Jones, Patricia (Craig) Mouton, Beverly (Herman) Bice; brothers-in-law, Herbert (Charlie) Jones, Craig (Patricia) Mouton, Herman (Beverly) Bice, Robert Jones; grandchildren, Zayne, Zachary, and Zaria Young; a host of cousins; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Preceding him in death are Zachary Bass (son); Magnolia Maria Bass (mother), William Bass, Sr. (father), two sisters, Odessa Burns, and Lois Goodie; six brothers, Robert Burns, Alvoy (Bill) Burns, Alvin Burns, Willie Burns, Richard Burns, and John Bass.
