Rosetta Jean Harvey
Rosetta Jean (Bassett) Harvey, 77, of Salamanca, died April 26, 2003 at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.
Mrs. Harvey was a retired machine operator for Case Cutlery, where she worked for ten years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and crocheting.
She was the wife of the late Phillip S. Harvey; daughter of the late Charles Ottis and Alice Elizabeth (Powell) Bassett; mother of Wayne P. (Patricia) Harvey of Angola, Robert (Tammy) Harvey of Collins Center, Jeanne L. May of Buffalo, and the late Peggy Anne Harvey; and sister of Cecil L. (Verne) Bassett of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the late Quentin (Bud) Bassett, Elizabeth Best and Velma Montgomery; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by the Hills Funeral Chapel, South Dayton.

Rosetta Harvey
She was born October 7, 1925, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Charles Ottis and Alice Elizabeth Powell Bassett.
She was retired from Case Cutlery where she was employed for ten years as a machine operator.
She enjoyed hobbies of crossword puzzles and crocheting.
She is survived by two sons; Wayne P. Harvey of Angola, New York, and Robert E. Harvey of Collins Center, New York; a daughter, Jeanne L. May of Buffalo; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Cecil L. Bassett of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip S. Harvey, whom she married December 6, 1943, and who died July 13, 1996; a daughter, Peggy Anne Harvey; a brother, Quentin Bassett; and two sisters: Elizabeth Best and Velma Montgomery.
A private service will be held by the family.
Arrangements are by the Hills Funeral Chapel, South Dayton, New York.
