Captain Bassett of N.O. Assigned to Laredo Post
Captain Aubrey J. Bassett, formerly of New Orleans, was in the city Wednesday on his way to Laredo, Tex., where he has been assigned in the Thirty-seventh Infantry. Captain Bassett enlisted at the opening of hostilities at Charleston, S.C., where he was sergeant chauffeur for Major General Leonard Wood. Later he was sent to the training camp at Chattanooga, Tenn., where he was commissioned a captain. He is at the St. Charles hotel.

Aubrey Bassett of Jacksonville, brother of the man killed Satruday night at the Ceprio Asturiano fire, arrived last night and is at the DeSoto, where his brother was registered. He will return to Jacksonville with the body today.
