Patricia Runk Bass
LAYTON ? Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Jean Runk Bass, 32, of 93 Berrington Way, Hill Gate Terrace, who died Wednesday at her home of gunshot wounds, will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Hill Air Force Bass Chapel No. 1.
Friends may call at the Layton Union Mortuary, 1095 N. Main, Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial in Fair Oaks Cemetery, New Wilmington, Pa.
Mrs. Bass was born Aug. 19, 1938, in New Wilmington, Pa., a daughter of Irbin C. and Mary Seley Runk.
She was married to Harry Lynnwood Bass in August 1958 in Las Vegas, Nev. He died Aug. 26, 1970.
She was a secretary at Hill Air Force Base and was a graduate of Henager Business College. She attended New Wilmington High School and was valedictorian in 1956.
She was a member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one son, Jeffery Bass, Layton; her parents of New Wilmington, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Ivan (Joan) Kaufman, and Mrs. Dwight (Dorothy) Dougherty, both of New Wilmington, Pa; one brother, Robert W. Runk, with the Air Force at McConnell Air Force Base, Wichita, Kan.
