Mr. and Mrs. Ira Everett Bass announce the birth of a daughter, Mary Ernestine, at Our Lady of the Lake sanitarium on September 13. Mrs. Bass was formerly Mary Ann Day of Baton Rouge.

Mary B. Munnis, 80, of Titusville - a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother - departed this world on Thursday, October 6, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on September 15, 1942 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Ira and Mary Bass. Mary graduated from Titusville High School in 1960 and continued friendships with her classmates as a cherished member of the Old Dawgs until her final days. She enjoyed fishing on the St. John?s River, and exercising her authority as Chairwoman during the family?s annual catfish tournament. She was an avid reader who loved to cook. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Munnis; brother Herbert Wayne Bass and grandson Derek Rosa. She will be greatly missed by her children, daughter Deborah (Joe) Frakes, son William Dalton (Pamela) Cairns and daughter Candace (Jose) Rosa; grandchildren Jared (Brittney) Cairns, Katie Frakes, Kyle (Hannah) Cairns, Kellie Frakes and Kiersten Rosa; great grandchildren Landon Cairns, Mason Cairns, Wyatt Cairns, Walker Cairns, Kayden Carins and Andie Stover; sister Sandy (Jeff) Wheeler, brother Robert Sam Bass; and nieces Diana Bass, Amanda (David) Start, and Ashley (Josh) Walker. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17th, 2022 at the North Brevard Funeral Home at 12PM, with visitation starting at 11AM; burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
