Hammonton Man Weds
J. Murray Bassett, Jr. Married to Rosedale Girl at Birde?s Home
Hammonton, Dec. 2-Miss Ray E. Lindsay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lindsay, of Rosedale, N.J., was united in marriage to J. Murray Bassett, Jr., son of J. Murray Bassett, a prominent dahlia grower and florist of this place, by the Rev. William J. Crisworth, former pastor of the Hammonton Baptist Church.
The wedding took place at the home of the bride in Rosdeale.
The bride was attended by Miss Lylia Johnston, of Hammonton, and Aaron S. Bassett, a brother of the groom was best man.
The bride and bridesmaid wore traveling suits and wore corsages of Orchids, Lily of the Valley and Sweetheart roses. After a wedding luncheon the bridal party left for West Philadelphia, where the happy couple were speeded on their honeymoon through the New England States, stopping at Exeter, N.H., and Ashfield, Mass., where they will visit relatives of the groom. They were recipients of many gift and a full quota of rice and confetti. There many friends wish them the best of luck.
