David ?Cricket? Bass, AKA, ?Bassman?, 64, of Petal, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at University of Mississippi Medical Center. A gathering of friends will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the Petal Civic Center.
Mr. Bass was the Merchandising Manager of Stokes Distributing, where he loved working for over 30 years. He loved drawing, cooking, and music. He was always the life of the party and loved to entertain his family and friends by singing and dancing. Above all, he was a devoted, encouraging, and loving husband and father. He made sure that his sons knew that he supported whatever it was they wanted to do in life.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Bass, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Karyn Andrews Bass of Petal; his sons, Kyle Bass (Kayla) of Hattiesburg and Corey Bass of Petal; his mother, Louise Bass of Petal; his sister, Linda Garner of Hattiesburg; his brother, Dale Bass of Hattiesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
