He is preceded in death by his parents James Harvey and Gwendlyn Lee (Bake) Bass; two sisters Debbie Ellington and Karen Richards. He is survived by his wife Wanda Bass of the home; two sons Gerald Lee Bass and Jesse Joseph Bass and his wife Kathryn all of Van Buren; two granddaughter Kierynn Chester and Kyndall Greene both of Van Buren; two grandsons Easton and Keaton Bass both of Van Buren; one sister Paula Ellington of Van Buren. A family held memorial service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Kibler Baptist Church. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
