  Notes	Argus Leader, South Dakota, 17 September 1927 Womam Lawyer Dies At Newell Mrs. Alice Richards First Lady to Be Admitted to State Bar Rapid City, Sept. 17.-The first lady in South Dakoat to be admitted to the bar, according to Frank Bangs, attorney, was Mrs. Alice Richards, who recently died at her home in Newell. Mrs. Richards came to Rapid City from Chicago and was employed in the law offices of Frank Bangs. She studied law and was admitted to the bar about 20 years ago. She later went to Newell to practice and leter married Mr. Richards. The body will be sent ot Rapid City for burial and services will be conducted at the Mountain View cemetery by the Eastern Star lodge. Mrs. Richards is survived by her husband, David Richards, and attorney, and three children, Elsie, Davikd and John.
