NORTH SMITHFIELD - Lorraine Yvette (Bessette) LeBlanc, 88, of North Smithfield, died July 1, 2018 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late John L. Sullivan, as well as the late Roger LeBlanc.
Her funeral will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 12 PM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St. Woonsocket, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 6 - 8 PM in the funeral home.

Lorraine Yvette (Bessette) LeBlanc, 88, of North Smithfield, died July 1, 2018 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late John L. Sullivan, as well as the late Roger LeBlanc. Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Aurora (Arsenault) Bessette.
Lorraine worked as a glass blower for many years, and in her spare time enjoyed square dancing and traveling. She traveled all over the world, and loved to spend time at her home in Florida whenever she could. She was a socialite, and a longtime communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Slatersville.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Henry-Munschy and her husband Emile of Glendale; two sons, John Lawrence Sullivan and his wife Mary Alice of North Smithfield, and Timothy Michael Sullivan and his wife Linda of Rutland, MA; several step-children; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Bessette and his wife Corrine of Fruitland, FL; and three sisters, Doris Phillips and her husband Richard of Ann Arbor, MI, Diane Simpson and her husband Ray of Fruitland, FL, and Lea Gregoire of Fairhaven, MA. She was the sister of the late Donald, Frank, James, and Robert Bessette.
