A graveside Service was held on Monday, Sept. 9 beginning at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, with Bro. Randy Harvill officiating and Johnson Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Lucille Blackmon; daughter, Leeta Sharron Bass and sister, Marie Pierce. Mrs. Barbara is survived by her children, Wayne Bass (Reta) and Russ Bass; grandchildren, Bubba Bass (Shelby) and Dale Bass; four great grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Farmer; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
