Roger Ross Bass
Roger Ross Bass, age 60, passed away on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at Ardmore.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, March 2, 2017, Fusion at The First Baptist Church of Ardmore, with Pastor Todd Davidson officiating. Burial to follow in Provence Cemetery, Ardmore.
Roger was born on March 10, 1956, in Oklahoma City, to Jerry Bill Bass and Francis Fern (Smithers) Bass. He graduated from Ardmore High School. Roger married LaDonna Maddox on Sept. 4, 1998. A member of First Baptist Church of Ardmore, he attended Celebrate Recovery and Fusion services.
Roger enjoyed playing the guitar and Indian crafting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Bill Bass and Frances Bass.
Roger is survived by his wife, LaDonna of the home; son, Jordan Bass; daughters: Amber Rice and husband, David, and Sarah Berry and husband, Keith; grandchildren: Karson Rice, Kaelyn Rice and Ethan Berry; brother, Mark Bass and wife, Reatha; sister, Jeri Bass; nephew, Kane Bass and wife, Sarah; nieces: Winter Bass and Kelly Miller and husband, Wes; and greatniece, Haylee Womack.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charlie Gaither, Nick Weldon, Bob Crawford, Brian Duncan, Terry Gilliam and Anthony Wright.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, March 1, 2017, at Griffin-Hillcrest, Ardmore.
