Bass Dies At His Home Here Funeral Service from the Residence on South Center Street Saturday Afternoon and Interment at Loray. Dr. R.A. Bass, 66 years old, died Friday morning at 12:50 o?clock at his home on South Center street. The funeral service Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o?clock from the residence and interment at Concord Presbyterian church, Loray. Dr. Bass is survived by his widow; one son, Mr. C.A. Bass, of High Point, and three daughters, Mrs. B. L. Bell, Turnersburg; Mrs. J.P. Hartsell and Mrs. C.T .Herman, of Statesville. One sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Lyerly, of Canton, also survives.
