Shayne Bassett
On Saturday, June 1, 2024, Shayne Bassett, 60, of Brushton, New York was carried away by angels to be amongst the butterflies.
Shayne was the daughter of Sharon Coryea and Allen Bassett, born on May 9th, 1964. Shayne attended Brushton-Moira High School and graduated in 1982.
Shayne had a love for crafting and decorating her cozy home. She had a unique sense of style and always looked her Shayne Bassett best. She loved having long heartfelt chats with loved ones over a warm cup of coffee. However, her late fiancé Rick, children, grand babies, and dogs gave her the most joy in life.
Shayne is survived by her 3 loving children, Jerimie Hutchins, Alex Carter, and Madison Carter; beautiful grandbabies Laynden, Vincent and Cameron; father Allen Bassett (Joan Bassett); cousins Angela Bassett, Lisa Jimenez, Bonny Fefee, and many more cousins who adored her.
She is predeceased by her sister, Vicky DeLorme, Mother Sharon Bassett and fiancé Rick Tuper.
Services will be at the convenience of the family; however, donations can be made to the Franklin County Down Syndrome Society.
