Alicia F. Bass
Alicia F. Bass, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on July 9th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 20th, 1929, in Chihuahua, Mexico. Alicia, was married to Alfredo Bass and together they had 10 children (3-boys and 7-girls). She was a devout Catholic.
Alicia (AKA Doņa Licha Bass) loved to sing with Mariachis, she also loved gardening and her favorite book was the most popular in the world, "The Bible." She loved reading the bible for hours and hours. She was an amazing woman who always loved to help others at any hours of the day. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Bass, her sons Victor, Jose Alfredo, Jorge Luis Bass and her daughter, Maria Concepcion Gutierrez-Arredondo.
Alicia, is survived by her daughters; Nora A. Galvan, M. Isabel Bass, Zulema Fernandez, Cruz E. Vasquez, Laura P. Rodriguez and Elvira A. Bass-Garcia, and 33 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She loved each and everyone single one of her children equally and had no favorite daughter/son or grandchild. Adelina Fe Torres, her great granddaughter who is 1 year old, and Leo Sebastian Bass 6 months, would always make her jump up from bed and put a big smile on her face!
Visitation will be held on July 18, 2024, at 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Rosary at 6:00 PM., at Castillo Funeral Home. We will celebrate mass at 10:00 AM, July 19th, 2024, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, where friends and family will gather to honor and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose love and kindness touched so many.
