David Bass
David Bass, 67, of Harrison, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 23, 2020 at his home.
David was a lifelong resident of Hamilton County and retired from the City of Chattanooga Public Works Dept. after 43 years of service.
He attended Maple Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Bass; his son, Justin Lance Bass; and parents, Harry Law Bass and Ella Frances Bass.
David is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Daniel) Hall; a proud Poppy to grandchildren, Aubriella and Hudson Hall; all of Harrison; brother, Bob Gann, Ooltewah; sister, Sherry (Buddy) Johnson, Middle Valley; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private service for the family will be held Monday, April 27 th at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating. The service will be available to view life stream on heritagechattanooga.com A memorial service to honor David's life will be held at a later date. Burial will follow at New McDonald Cemetery. The family invites you to attend the graveside service on Monday however you are asked to remain in your vehicles.
