She died 31 May 1901 in Faribault, Minnesota. He was a stock farmer. They moved to Fairbault, Minnesota. He was a cabinet maker by trade, later a farmer. He moved from Connecticut to Bristol, Kenosha County, Wisconsin where he farmed until 1850. He then moved to Benton County, Iowa until 1853 when he relocated to Morristown, Rice County, Minnesota where he purchased 160 acres of land.
