Gregory E. Bass
Gregory "Greg" E. Bass, 75, of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, passed away, Friday, July 5, 2024. Greg was born on November 15, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, and was the son of Delbert and Frances (McMannamey) Bass. He was a 1966 graduate of Clay High School. Greg married Beverly A. Pfaff on March 14, 1969. He retired as a carpenter for John Bramberger after many years of employment. Prior, he worked for Whitey Pfaff Builders. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union 351 in Rossford, Ohio, and the Glass City CB Club.
Greg is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Beverly; children, Robert (Kim) Bass, Elizabeth (Thomas) Kosek, and Steven (Crystal) Bass; brothers, Gene Bass and Doug (Paula) Bass, sister, Rozanna Logsdon; grandchildren, Jessica (Andrew), Stacy (Dorian), Angela, Paul, Aaron, Mariah, Joshua, Jacob, and Katherine; great grandchildren, Colton, Weston and Everett, and best friend, Elden Petrey. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carl Bass.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 12, 2024. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com.
