Lynn E. Bassett, Longtime legal secretary
WATERBURY - Lynn E. Bassett, age 68, passed away Oct. 22, 2016 peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Oct. 11, 1948 and was predeceased by her parents, Russell Sr. and Josephine Bassett of Norwalk. She was also predeceased by her three brothers, Louis, Edward and Russell Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Shari-Lyn Herman of Stratford; her two daughters, Christine Ralph (David Woolard) and Michele Powers of Waterbury; two granddaughters, Nicole Stubbs and Rebecca Woolard; two nephews, Edward Bassett (Lea) and Robert Bloxsom III. She is also survived by extended family grandchildren Sara, Jason, Justin, Cassandra and Rebecca.
She was a longtime legal secretary for attorney Gary Broder and was best known for her generosity and amazing courage.
Services are being held at Our Lady of Peace Church, 651 Stratford Road, Stratford on Dec. 3 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Lynn.
