Bassett, Tim C., Age 70, of McKees Rocks, unexpectedly on Friday, February 12, 2010. Beloved husband of Deborah; Father of Kimberly (Ken) Powers, Tim C. Bassett Jr., Rebecca Lynn Cade of California and James Christopher (Cassandra) Bassett; Dear Grandfather of Gregory Fried, Kenny, Amber and Ashley Powers, Darian, Candice and Chelsea Bassett; Great Grandfather of Ryan and Isabella Powers; Brother of Sandra Madia and the late Carol Long. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at McDermott Funeral Home, Inc., 1225 Chartiers Avenue, McKees Rocks, where Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. Tim owned and operated the Bassett Music Store in Penn Hills. He had a great love of music and he played the organ at the United Methodist Church in Holiday Park. Tim was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
