Services will b e at 1 p.m. today at Porters Creek Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Reaves Cemetery. Shcakelford Funeral Home in Boliver has charge. Mr. Bass, the husband of Melba Bass, also leaves to daughters, Carolyn Bass of Savannah and Shelia Campbell of Middleton; seven sisters, Virginia Johnson of Hubbard, Texas, Dessie Vickers, Frances Howell and Fay Voyles, all of Middleton, Mae Weathersby of Florida, Betty Phillips of Bolivar and Linda Stewart of Toone; two brothers, Travis Bass and William Earl Bass, both of Bolivar, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
