She was born November 13, 1910, in Michigan.She was a member of Fairlawn United Methodist Church. She worked in childcare for over 40 years, starting at Central United Methodist Church Daycare. She served as PTA President at Lodge and Glenwood schools and also volunteered at several other organizations. She enjoyed crafting and sewing.Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Schmitt; and son, William Schmitt.She is survived by her daughter, Linda Albright (Ned); grandchildren, Melissa Hartman (Kevin), Mark Albright and Danielle Albright; great-grandchildren, Katelynne, Taylor and Logan Hartman and Brenden Albright; and sisters, Sybil Johnson and Shirley Zesse, both of Michigan.Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Fairlawn United Methodist Church, 2001 South Parker Drive, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairlawn United Methodist Church Imagine Project, 2001 South Parker Drive, Evansville, IN 47714.
