Scott Michael Bass, 51, of Frederick, MD passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2024.
He was born on February 9, 1973, in Frederick, MD. Scott was a proud father and cherished every moment spent with his son Gavin. Known for his sense of humor; during the good times he was the life of the party and the class clown. His passion for sports was evident as he and his son bonded over discussions about the NBA, NFL, and local teams.
He is survived by his son Gavin Bass, ex-wife Sherry Beltz Bass, brother James Bass (Cheryl), sister Sherri Krivos (Chris), nieces and nephews Brittany Hughes (Andrew and great niece Zoey) JC Grubbs (Lindsey and great nephew Parker) Austin Grubbs; Mariah Bass; Tiffani Grubbs; Christian Bass and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Scott was preceded in death by his father James Bass, mother Phyllis Bass, and grandparents Charles and Phyllis Ferrar.
A memorial service followed by light refreshments will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike Frederick, MD 21701, Sunday, June 2, 2024 @ 1:00.
