Debra J. Sprague
Debra J. (Bassett) Sprague, 59, of Bourne, formerly of Cummaquid, died January 20 at the Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility after a long illness.
A fifth generation Cape Codder, Ms. Sprague was the daughter of Carolyn (Rose) Bassett of Cummaquid and the late Winthrop N. Bassett Jr. She was born and raised in Barnstable and attended Barnstable High School.
She worked as a nurse?s aide at several Cape Cod area nursing homes for many years.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Sprague leaves two sons, Justin Walker of Hyannis and Nicholas Sprague of Los Angeles, California; a daughter, Jodi Quinlan of Brewster; two brothers, Clifford H. Bassett of Yarmouth and Kim M. Bassett of Cummaquid; a sister, Linda Harrington of Cummaquid; several grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, January 31, from 2 to 4 PM in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Avenue, South Yarmouth.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
