Newlywed Couple Making Home Here
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Sherwin Abdnor are living in Waco following their marriage Nov. 29 at the home of the celebrant, Rev. A.C. Lane, 909 Reynolds. The bride, formerly Mrs. Grace Bass, is the daughter of C.D. Poteet of Pine Bluff, Ark. She was been employed with James Connaly Air Force Base for three years. Mr. Abdnor, son of Mrs. D. S. Abdnor, 1409 Speight, is associated with the United Bankers of Dallas.

Grace Euginia Abdnor
Grace Euginia Abdnor, 89, of Robinson, passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, in Robinson. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Mario Ortega officiating. Visitation will be 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
Grace was born in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was a long time employee of Providence Hospital as a nurse's aide.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Sherwin Abdnor Sr.; a baby son, Carl Eugene Bass; and another son, Lee Sherwin Abdnor Jr..
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Ortega and husband, Mario, of Robinson; sons, Robert Bass, of Waco and Sonny Bass, of Flower Mound; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Margie Crocker, of N.C.
