Alleman A joint Solemn Requiem Mass and recitation of the rosary will be offered at St. Agatha Church for William Arnold Alleman and Michael Francis Bassett, who were killed Monday in an automobile accident in Linn County. Mass will be offered Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with recitation of the rosary scheduled for Wednesday at 8 p.m. Interment for both will be at Gethsemani Cemetery. Mr. Bassett was born in Portland on Dec. 22, 1943. He was graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1961 and had attended University of Oregon for one year. He lived at 1834 SE Exeter Dr. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alton J. Bassett, two brothers, William and John Bassett, and two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Lewis and Mrs. Dorothy Daniels; a grandmother, Mrs. Amelia Bassett, all of Portland, and a grandfather, W.P. O’Brien of Astoria. The family requests no flowers. McGinnis and Wilhelm and Hennessey, Goetsch and McGee are in charge of arrangements.
