Leslie Arthur Bass Jr.

Leslie Arthur Bass, Jr. of Wakefield passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2018. Leslie lived in Wakefield his whole life; he was the son of the late Leslie Arthur Bass, Sr. and Martha Anne Teall. Leslie was known to be a very hard worker and a great friend to all he knew. He loved spending time outdoors riding his tractor or target practicing, as he was an avid marksman. Spending time with his family meant the most to him, especially his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Laura Ann Bass; his daughter, Amber Perry (Barrett); step-daughters, Noelle and Jessie Perez; two grandchildren, Kennedy and Rylee; his brothers, Melvin Bass (Tami), and Christopher Bass; his half-brother, Michael McLemore; his step-father, Vernon Teall and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel with Rev. Cliff Fritzinger and Dr. Nancy Moore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Melvin and Tami Bass. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2132.
