Mrs. Nancy Bassett
Mrs. Nancy Bassett, who moved from Elkhart to Bristol fifty-seven years ago today, died at the home of her daughter, who is the wife of Rev. A.L. Lamport, at Avilla, Ind., yesterday. The body will be brought to Bristol at 11 o'clock tomorrow, and lie in state at the Methodist church until the hour of the funeral, 2 p.m. Mrs. Bassett was eighty-seven years old on March 4, last. Beside Mrs. Lamport, there is a surviving son, Edward Bassett of Bristol. Her husband, Daniel Bassett, died April 3, 1880.
