Benny E. Bass
Benny Earl Bass, age 54, of Sheffield, Ala., died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008.
His family received friends Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, at Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, in the funeral home chapel, with T.A. Duke officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Bass was a native of Lauderdale County. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a very special nephew, Mark Linville.
He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and was always there to help anyone who needed it. He loved life and lived life to the fullest; always had a smile for everyone. Benny will be missed by everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gail Bass, of Sheffield; son, Benny Ray Bass; daughters, Regina Bass and Jessica Bass; brother, Marshall Lee Bass; sisters, Clara Mae Willis, Betty Louise Hinton, Shirley Ann Linville; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Teddy "Bo" Wellington, Jamie Malone, Melvin Castle, Jeff Gregory, Melvin Carmack, Chris Fuller, Keith Yerbey and Terry Richardson.
Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia, is directing.
