Mrs. Margaret Elaine Bass Bryant, 62, of 2814 Taylors Bridge Hwy., died Monday, August 10, 2009, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, August 12th, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Eric Carter officiating.
Mrs. Bryant, a native of Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Carl Duell Bass and Rosa Lee Byrd Bass and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and the Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Rose Carter, and a son, Carl Victor Carter. She was a private duty nurse.
Survivors are: her husband, Jimmie David Bryant of the home; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann McLamb and husband Bentley; stepson, James Dalton Bryant; mother, Rosa Lee Byrd Bass and Russell; three sisters, Betty Smith and husband Charles, Edith Wilson and husband Danny, and Sylvia Pope and husband Patrick; two brothers, Larry Bass and wife Gail, and Wayne Bass; and ten grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at Crumpler-Honeycutt Wednesday evening and at other times at 1181 Reedsford Road, Clinton.
