A memorial service was held at Beverly Hills Baptist Church on Monday, January 31, 2011. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husbands, one granddaughter, and one great grandson and one sister. She is survived by six sons, Paul Bass (Jan), Arkadelphia, AR, David Bass (Margie), Lee's Summit, Wendell, Dennis (Barbara), Fred (Susan), and Jeff Bass, all of Independence. Also surviving her are 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one sister, and three brothers. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions to Beverly Hills Baptist Church, Independence, MO where she was an active member for over 40 years.
