Bonnie Jean Bass
JUSTIN - Bonnie Jean Bass, 77, of Justin died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Longmeadow Care Center in Justin.
She was born July 7, 1927, in Ashland, Ohio, to Ivan and Bertha Gantz Richert. In 1965, she married Wilson "Sam" Bass. He died in 1992.
She was a cashier at the Rocking J Cafe in Justin before retirement.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle. The Rev. Joel Watson will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Eddleman and Barbara Calvert, both of Justin; one son, Bill Lampman of Decatur; one sister, Charlotte Richert of Ohio; one brother, Phillip Richert of Ohio; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Arnold "Bobby" Bass, and one granddaughter, Shauna Patterson.
