  Notes	The Beaumont Enterprise, Texas, Monday, February 15, 2010 Clint Bass, 83 Mr. Clint Bass, 83, of Vidor passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. He was a native of Starks, Louisiana; born on April 29, 1926 to parents Jerry Bass and Mary (Thompson) Bass. He served his country in the Army during WWII as a Tank Destroyer. He retired from Brown Tool in 1988 where he worked as an Oil Field Worker. He enjoyed going fishing, hunting and he was one great story teller. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene Perkins, LaVerne Meyer; brothers, Thurman Sheffield, Almond Bass, Prentise Bass. He is survived by his brother, Ray Bass and his wife Carrie of Starks, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 5 until 9 pm at Dorman Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Chris Dubose officiating. Burial will follow at Doyle Cemetery in Starks, LA.
